Had a great time at Celio! The rooftop terrace was ideal for soaking up the sun. The decor was beautiful with charming mosaic tiles. Only downside was the breakfast area felt cramped, but overall, an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

I have stayed in quadruple room with filthy bedding, the jetted bath tub and a partial view for 2 nights. The hotel had a central location close to everything.
Where was lift?.

I booked large room with a single bed. The breakfast choices were free with cheese and freshly made coffee, as example. The location was perfect and magnificent, close to restaurants and bars. A convenience shop and convenience stores were right next door...

fine roof terrace, beautiful decor, engaging local environment
The need to call someone for late entry felt disruptive, especially after a long day on the streets!!! The tight communal areas could use some expansion for more comfort!!!

The location was fantastic and air conditioning was a real bonus! We had only 8 hours to spend in Rome for an early flight out the next morning. Excellent location steps from coliseum let us maximize our short time, and only 1/2 hour to airport so convenient that way too. We would definitely stay there again for our return trip when we can have a proper full week visit to Rome. Very comfortable, clean and an excellent value for the location. Plus decent restaurants and gelato on the same street.
Only criticism was that the wifi was very spotty and we never really got it to work right but it was a minor inconvenience.

We liked the proximity to the Colosseum. We also thought the breakfast each morning was really great.
A little overpriced in our opinion, but the people were nice and we had a good time.

Amazing and incredible location to attractions like an ancient roman amphitheatre, that was minutes away from the hotel. There was really helpful and knowledgeable staff and the service was great.

The bed was comfortable, though the breakfast
Options were somewhat limited compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The charming rooftop terrace made each evening special, and the staff, especially Roberto, were cute and accommodating. I felt at home .

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The internal decor is stunning. The rooms are small but perfectly formed, they are spotlessly clean and are decorated to the highest standard. The bathrooms are also stunning with excellent facilities. The location of the hotel is perfect. There are no views to speak of but the hotel is on one of the quiet streets about 5 mins walk away from the Colloseum and main tourist sites. Other hotels in the area are right on the main roads which are very noisy, but at this hotel you are guaranteed a good night's sleep. The breakfast is excellent.

The place had a quiet atmosphere. Had large standard room in the wardrobes and wake-up service was available in it. The breakfast was free and very very good with fresh juice and also croissants, perfect to start our day.

Hotel Celio was very luxurious for the cost of the rooms. Beautiful Roman interior design in an excellent location just behind the Colosseum. We had an interconnecting suite with a private roof terrace. Would definitely stay again.

Charming hotel run by family who were always helpful, quiet location yet convenient to Colosseum, transportation, and restaurants. Excellent value.
Shower stalls are tiny and somewhat difficult to use.
